Constipation is one of the hardest things that can happen to anyone, especially a pregnant woman. And sometimes treating constipation with over-the-counter medicine just won’t help. You can try as many remedies as you want but constipation is so tricky during pregnancy and even after. That’s why I’ve fought to find the perfect ingredient to treat constipation immediately.

What causes constipation during pregnancy?
constipation during pregnancy is caused by the increase of progesterone hormone. the sudden increase of progesterone makes the body muscles and intestines relax, therefore, slowing digestion which eventually causes constipation.
constipation can be a nuisance especially by the end of the pregnancy when the baby is heavy and pressing against the rectum. It’s a whole other level of difficulty.
what’s the fastest way to ease constipation during pregnancy
1. Eat Brazilian nuts.

this magical nut is a lifesaver. Brazilian nuts have high levels of selenium and proteins, both soluble and insoluble. This means that the soluble proteins in the Brazilian nut will dissolve in your intestines which can then help food to move slowly down your digestive tract. which can then increase nutrient absorption. The insoluble proteins cannot be dissolved in your digestive tract but will attract more water which will add more bulk to your stool, therefore, a smooth bowel movement.
You can have as few as 3 Brazillian nuts a day or you can blend them with your smoothie or protein bars
2. Drink Senna tea

I genuinly appreciate the existence of this tea. The first time I had a bowel movement after drinking Senna tea felt like I was born again, I suffered a lot with constipation and finding a solution to it was my number one mission. one thing though is you need to be careful with senna as it can be so powerful, it’s recommended you drink it for no longer than 2 weeks. but trust me when I tell you this, you wouldn’t even drink it for 2 weeks because you’ll see the result immediately and it’ll last.
