Being happy and fit doesn’t have to be hard. It can be so easy if you try to implement a few habits in your life and make them a priority.
You’ll only need 15 to 30 minutes each day and you don’t have to do these habits all at once. You can just pick one or three and start slowly until they become second nature.

Take it one day at a time
Learn to live in the present. Don’t think about the past because it has gone. And don’t think about the future because you’ll never know what it’s going to be like. Instead, focus on your present and make the most of it by living every moment and every second of it.
Have some me-time
Every day, try to dedicate at least 15 minutes to yourself, Just you. I don’t care what you do during this time, you can play a game, watch a youtube video, talk to yourself, stay silent or even pick your belly button. This will help you to destress and recharge.
Find spiritual time
Always make sure to find time to connect with God through prayer or through meditation.
You don’t have to be a religious person to be spiritual. You can do yoga, listen to some calm music, or meditate. This will help you detox your body from bad energy and will increase dopamine production which leads to happiness, positive energy, concentration and more other benefits.
Practice gratitude
Every day, before going to bed, make a list of things you’re grateful for in your life. You’ll be surprised by how many blessings you have. This will help you appreciate what you have taken for granted and make you feel much more satisfied and grateful.
Do your affirmations
I’m sure you look at the mirror every single day right? Now, this time I want you to look at the mirror and say good things to yourself. I’m beautiful, I’m loved, I’m confident, I love myself, I’m strong, I deserve the best. You can say whatever you want of course and as much as you want. But just make sure you do your affirmations every day. This will help replace negative idea in your subconscious mind with positive ones and it will help boost your confidence and improve your mental health.
Watch how you speak to yourself
Take a moment and watch yourself talking to you. What do you hear? Negativity? Do you really want someone to talk to you with such negativity? Of course No. then why you’re talking to yourself like that? Replace negative conversations with yourself with positive ones. I know you might be going through some shit in your life and you can’t really think about anything else besides your problems. But try your best to be your own best friend. Talk nicely to you. Treat yourself just as you want others to treat you.
Write your goals and work towards them
What/where do I want to be in 5 years from now? Have you ever asked this question to yourself? Set yourself a few goals and try to do something every day that will make you closer to achieving them. Never underestimate the power of little steps. They make wonders.

Avoid procrastinating
Procrastination is the enemy of success. If you need to do something now then just do it. Don’t say, it’s fine I’ll do it tomorrow. Things will accumulate and eventually, you’ll end up doing nothing and then you’ll feel overwhelmed by the number of tasks you have to complete. Set a timer and start with smaller tasks and work your way up to bigger ones.
Make a deadline
You have some exciting projects going on but you have no idea when or how to start? Make a deadline. This will motivate you to work towards your goal and it will make you work harder in order to finish before your deadline. You’ll be proud of yourself once you finally achieve your goal in a frame of time.
Treat yourself
Ask yourself to go on a date. Go shopping or buy yourself some flowers. Why? Because you deserve it. Don’t wait for somebody else to do these things for you. Be sufficient, love yourself and treat it with respect.
Go for a walk
Walking has been proved to lift the mood and get your body energized. Challenge yourself to take a walk every day for at least 10 minutes and breath some fresh air.
Make a to-do list
In order to get yourself organized, you have to make a to-do list every day. This will help you clear your head and get things done faster without having to think each time what to do next.
Make a ta-da list
Now this list is meant to be for making you proud of your achievements. Sit down and write everything you’ve achieved today or even this month or this year. You’ll be proud of yourself once you realize how much stuff you’ve done already.
Declutter your house
Make it a habit and get rid of unnecessary things in your house every once in a while. You can schedule this to be every three or six months. You’ll be amazed by how much useless stuff is sitting there collecting dust. If you don’t need something then it probably needs to find another home or it needs to be ditched.
Learn to budget
Don’t spend more than what you earn. You have to be responsible for your own finances and you need to save for your future. Budget everything. Don’t be tricked to buy every product you see promoted or every branded item. Live with less and you’ll be happier and free.
Cut the negatives
Do you have anyone in your life who is causing you stress and bring nothing to the table but negativity? End your relationship with them. Don’t think twice. You’ll soon realize that these people have never loved you. Otherwise, they wouldn’t bring such feelings into your life.
Less social media
Did you notice that every time you go to check your social media you become anxious? Social media can be addicting and very negative. Help yourself by taking a break from it and take your time to heal from it. Try minimizing your time there and focus on your real-world and connect with those around you. You’ll feel much better and your overall health will also improve, you’ll be sleeping better, your eyes will be less strained and your mind will be clear.
Help someone
We rise by lifting others. Each time you help someone, someone else will help you. Bring joy to the world and the world will bring joy back to you. It doesn’t have to be hard. You can simply be there for someone and support them when they talk about their problems. Or you can volunteer in your local charity. Any act of kindness will make the world a bit more peaceful.
Call a family member or an old friend
We can get so caught in this busy life and never realize how much we miss those who have been one day a part of our life. Call them and say Hi. They will feel happy to hear from you and you’ll be happy too to reconnect with your people.
Cry
Let it out, cry. Don’t let your sorrows overcome you. You need to overcome them. This life is not a battle to win. It’s an experience to be lived. You’ll always have ups and downs. If you feel like crying then cry. Get rid of that bad energy.
Eat healthily
Cut processed foods and start cooking your own food. Eat more fruits and veg. Stay away from sugar and drink plenty of water. You’ll be much happier and younger.
We are responsible for our own happiness. You don’t have to have everything to be happy. You can create your own meaning of happiness by appreciating more and implementing healthy habits into your life
