Ingredients
- 130 G dark chocolate chips 2/3 cup
- 30 G butter 2 tbsp
- 1 egg
- 55 G brown sugar 7 tbsp
- 45 G flour 6 tbsp
- 1 tsp baking soda or 1/2 tsp baking soda and 1/2 tsp baking powder
Instructions
METHOD
- place a bowl over a saucepan with some hot water
- add the chocolate and butter and melt together
- in a mixing bowl, add the egg and the brown sugar and whisk together until light and foamy
- add the melted chocolate and mix well.
- add 1 tsp to the flour and mix together
- sift the flour over the mixture and combine all ingredients well
- cover and refrigerate for 30 to 60 minutes
BAKING THE COOKIES
- add one scoop for each cookie to a baking tray
- place the cookies apart to prevent them from sticking together because they will spread over the tray
- bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes at 160° Celcius (360° Fahrenheit)
- allow to cool and enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee!
- save in an airtight container and consume within a week
